On October 26, Executive Committee will be reviewing the Expo 2025 Canada Feasibility Study and voting on whether or not to proceed with a formal. After this critical vote, Toronto City Council will vote on wether or not to proceed with a formal Expo 2025 Canada Bid Proposal on November 8, 2016.
We want to signal to Toronto City Council that there is widespread support for Expo 2025 Canada. It is critical that your City Councillor hears from you why you support Expo 2025 Canada.

Dear Mayor Tory & City Council,
I am writing to ask you to please support a bid for Expo 2025 in Toronto. I strongly believe that now is the time for Toronto show the world everything has to offer. The benefits for Toronto will be tremendous.
3 Reasons I support Expo 2025
1. The world needs more Canada! Expo 2025 will bring 30 million people to Toronto. We live in the most diverse city in the world, in one of the most prosperous countries on the planet. From innovation & technology to pluralism and people, we have so much to share with the world and an Expo would showcase everything we have to offer.
2. The economic benefits will be long lasting. Expo would generate 50,800 person years of employment; a percentage of these jobs will be provided to disadvantaged groups in priority areas.. The opportunity to provide jobs to low-income and marginalized groups through Community Benefit Agreements and Social Procurement will ensure that Expo benefits all residents of Toronto.
3. Expo will accelerate needed transit and infrastructure projects. The Port Lands have been waiting 20 years to be transformed from under-used industrial land into a vibrant, mixed-used neighbourhood. Expo will accelerate this work and ensure it is completed on-time and complete the development of Toronto’s waterfront.
This November, City Council will make a decision on whether or not to pursue a bid for Expo in 2025. Please say yes! This is an opportunity of a generation. It’s Canada’s time to lead on the world stage!
